Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning about an impending conflict between two prominent figures in Nigeria's opposition coalition. According to the spiritual leader, former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi are headed for a clash over the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition's presidential ticket.

The revelation came during the unveiling of Primate Ayodele's annual prophecy book titled 'Warnings To The Nations' (2025/2026 edition), where he shared insights about the political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections.

"The ADC coalition is divine, has the capacity to pull up something great in 2027 but politicians with selfish interests can collapse it," Primate Ayodele stated. "I am seeing Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi having a public fallout due to the presidential ticket of the ADC before 2027."

The prophet further predicted that both political heavyweights might withdraw from the coalition due to disagreements over the presidential ticket. He specifically mentioned that Peter Obi would likely exit the movement if he fails to secure the nomination.

"If Peter Obi doesn't get presidential ticket, he would pull out of the coalition. Like I said, the coalition is divine but humans can jeopardize the movement. They need to be careful," he added.

The ADC coalition has been viewed as a potentially formidable opposition force for the upcoming 2027 elections. However, according to Primate Ayodele's prophecy, internal conflicts and personal ambitions could undermine its effectiveness and ultimate success.

Political analysts note that coalition politics in Nigeria have historically been challenging to maintain, with personal ambitions often overshadowing collective goals. The ADC coalition represents one of the opposition's attempts to present a united front against the ruling party in the next general elections.

Neither Peter Obi nor Rotimi Amaechi has publicly responded to Primate Ayodele's prophecy at the time of this report.
