French Feminine club, Paris FC has officially announced the departure of Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie after a successful stint with the team.
The 24-year-old Super Falcons shot-stopper, who joined Paris FC from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side Rivers Angels in 2025, has established herself as one of the continent's premier goalkeepers during her time in France.
Paris FC confirmed Nnadozie's exit with an emotional farewell message on social media: "Merci, Chiamaka! From your first save to your last stand in Parisian colours, you've inspired a generation. You leave as a champion, a leader, and forever a part of the Paris FC family. Bonne chance for your next chapter!"
Trophy Success and Individual Accolades
Nnadozie's Paris FC journey culminated in silverware last month when she helped the club secure the Coupe de France Féminine title, her first major trophy with the French side. Her exceptional performances between the posts also earned her recognition as the best goalkeeper in the French Women's League for the 2023/24 season.
Currently regarded as Africa's top goalkeeper, Nnadozie has been a cornerstone of Nigeria's national team setup, firmly establishing herself as the Super Falcons' first-choice goalkeeper.
Future Prospects
According to reports, Nnadozie is strongly linked with a move to English Women's Super League club Everton. The transfer would mark another significant step in her professional career, potentially bringing her talents to one of Europe's most competitive leagues.
Before any potential club switch, Nnadozie is expected to represent Nigeria at the upcoming 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco next month, where the Super Falcons will be among the favorites to claim the continental crown.
