The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to Nigerian governors, cautioning them not to underestimate the opposition coalition platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a statement released on Tuesday through his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele emphasized that the coalition platform possesses significant potential to capture key political positions across Nigeria, potentially unseating incumbent governors who fail to take appropriate measures.
"Some Nigerian governors will be removed from power by ADC if care isn't taken; they will find it difficult to get a re-election in their respective offices. On a free and fair election, they won't win; they can only rig," Ayodele stated.
The spiritual leader further cautioned: "They should not underestimate the coalition platform; they may not see it now, but they must be very careful."
This latest prophecy follows Ayodele's earlier warnings to specific state governors regarding their re-election prospects. Just two days ago, he specifically mentioned governors from Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Ondo states, stating that their second-term ambitions remain uncertain without dedicated effort and divine intervention.
"It's not certain for them except they work hard and pray. This is a hint of what they should expect," he had revealed, emphasizing the need for these governors to intensify their efforts to secure re-election.
Political analysts note that these predictions come at a time when opposition parties are strategically positioning themselves for the 2027 general elections, with coalition-building becoming increasingly prominent in Nigeria's political landscape.
The ADC, which has been gaining momentum in recent months, appears to be strengthening its structures across various states, potentially posing a significant challenge to incumbent governors and other elected officials.
