Italian Serie A club Udinese has placed a €15 million price tag on Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, as they look to offload the Nigerian international during the current transfer window.
According to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Udinese has offered the 25-year-old shot-stopper to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, though negotiations between the two clubs are still in the early stages.
The Italian club's eagerness to sell comes after Okoye was referred to the Italian disciplinary commission last month for alleged sporting fraud. If found guilty, the Nigerian goalkeeper could face a severe four-year ban from professional football.
Despite the ongoing disciplinary issues, Okoye has attracted interest from several European clubs. Premier League side Bournemouth has shown interest, while Italian giants Inter Milan and Torino are also monitoring the situation closely.
Okoye joined Udinese in 2023 from English Championship club Watford and made 25 league appearances for the Zebras last season, establishing himself as a regular starter for the Italian side.
The goalkeeper, who has represented Nigeria at international level, now faces an uncertain future as Udinese pushes for his departure amid the looming disciplinary case.
