Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed profound shock and sadness over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing the two-term Nigerian leader as a towering figure whose life embodied discipline, integrity, and unwavering patriotism.

In a condolence message released through his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf paid glowing tribute to the late President's lifetime of public service, highlighting Buhari's dedication to Nigeria's unity, stability, and progress both as a military ruler and as a democratically elected president.

"President Muhammadu Buhari devoted his entire life to serving our dear country with courage and sincerity," Governor Yusuf stated. "His steadfastness, simplicity, and commitment to the welfare of ordinary Nigerians will continue to inspire generations."

The Governor extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late President, the government and people of Katsina State, and all Nigerians mourning this significant loss. He prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the late President's shortcomings, grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the nation strength to bear the great loss.
