Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a stern warning to her longtime industry rival, Lizzy Anjorin, amid escalating tensions between the two celebrities. The warning comes just days after Ojo's office was reportedly destroyed by fire.
In an Instagram live session on Friday morning, Ojo explicitly stated: "If anything happens to me or my children, hold Lizzy Anjorin responsible, we have not started the case yet."
The public confrontation appears to be in response to claims made by Anjorin in a viral social media video where she announced that a defamation case filed against her by Ojo had been struck out in court. Anjorin also accused Ojo of associating with individuals who allegedly bully her.
Ojo firmly refuted these claims during her live session, clarifying that the case had not even commenced in court. "That is just ADR. I have been waiting for you to mention my name. The judge threw the case out because she wanted peace," she explained.
Addressing Anjorin's accusations about her associations, Ojo stated: "You said I always associate myself with those that bully you. Lizzy, we aren't friends and I do not owe you any explanation about who I choose to be close to."
This latest development in their ongoing feud coincides with other challenges facing Ojo. Just hours before her Instagram live session, the actress revealed she had been summoned by police over allegations of cyberbullying. Additionally, her office recently suffered a fire incident, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
The public dispute between these two prominent Nollywood figures has captured significant attention in Nigeria's entertainment circles, with fans and industry observers closely following the developments.
