President Bola Tinubu has publicly acknowledged the significant role played by former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, in his political journey, describing himself as "a product of your hard work."
The President made this statement on Wednesday during the inauguration of state projects in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, where he also praised his administration's performance since taking office.
"Former governors here present, my friend Tanko Al-Makura and my former Chairman, Senator Abdullahi, thank you," Tinubu said. "You see the product of your hard work standing before you, so don't blame me if I say I'm excited I'm in Nasarawa State."
The President commended Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Audu Sule for his developmental efforts, describing the state as one with "great complexity that has the diversity of culture, people, and prosperity."
"The hope is here, from this moment on, you will have no regrets because I can see hard work coming from A.A. Sule," Tinubu remarked. "He is determined to use the resources available to him for the benefit, stability, and progress of Nasarawa State."
Drawing a parallel between his administration and Governor Sule's performance, the President added, "Sule is doing well because Bola Tinubu is doing well too."
The event highlights the continued political alliance between Tinubu and key APC figures who supported his rise to the presidency, particularly Abdullahi Adamu, who led the party during Tinubu's presidential campaign and subsequent victory.
