Nigerian midfielder Moses Orkuma has completed a transfer to Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, signing a two-year contract with the North African club.

The 30-year-old, who previously represented Nigeria at the U-20 level, joins Raja after his stint with Qatari side Umm Salal Sports Club came to an end.

Player's Reaction to the Move

Speaking after finalizing the deal, Orkuma expressed enthusiasm about his new challenge in Morocco.

"I am overexcited and feel great to join Raja Casablanca," he said. "I am looking forward to win the league with the club and contribute my quota to take the team back to the top where they belong."

Experienced Continental Journeyman

This move adds another country to Orkuma's diverse playing career. The midfielder began his professional journey with Nigerian club Lobi Stars before embarking on an international career that has seen him play in Libya, Tunisia, Kuwait, and most recently Qatar.

Raja Casablanca, one of Morocco's most successful clubs with a strong continental reputation, will be hoping Orkuma's experience across multiple leagues will strengthen their squad as they aim to reclaim domestic dominance and make an impact in African competitions.

The Nigerian becomes the latest African talent to join the Moroccan league, which has increasingly become an attractive destination for players from across the continent in recent years.
