The Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, has deployed tactical units to address the recent violent outbreak in Agwa community, Oguta Local Government Area. The special squad will collaborate with other security agencies and local vigilantes to track down bandits responsible for the disturbances.

According to a statement released by the command's spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, the violent clashes which occurred on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, resulted in the death of three individuals.

Coordinated Search Operation Launched

In response to the situation, the command has initiated a well-coordinated search operation targeting specific locations, including forest areas and suspected hideouts. This operation aims to apprehend those responsible for the violence and ensure they face legal consequences.
