The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially announced Saturday, June 14, 2025, as the commencement date for the nationwide application process for the 77 Regular Course.

According to a statement released by the academy's registrar, all candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.

Application Requirements and Deadlines

The NDA has emphasized that prospective candidates must complete their applications before the stipulated deadline. Applicants are also required to obtain their acknowledgement forms, as failure to do so will render them ineligible to participate in the upcoming screening exercise.

Following the closure of the application portal, candidates will be required to select their preferred screening test centres between June 5 and June 9, 2025.

Important Notice for Applicants

The academy has issued a clear warning that only those who complete the entire application process will be permitted to sit for the screening test. This includes the selection of screening centres and acquisition of the acknowledgement form.

The Nigerian Defence Academy, established to train officer cadets for commissioning into the Nigerian Armed Forces, conducts this recruitment exercise annually to select qualified candidates for military training.

Interested candidates are advised to monitor official NDA channels for further updates regarding the application process and subsequent screening exercises.
