Napoli manager Antonio Conte has decided to remain with the newly-crowned Serie A champions despite growing speculation linking him with a return to Juventus, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed.

Following Napoli's triumphant league campaign, where they finished ahead of Inter Milan to claim the Scudetto, rumors had circulated that Conte was unhappy in Naples and considering an exit this summer. However, these speculations have now been put to rest after productive talks between the Italian tactician and the club's hierarchy.

De Laurentiis held a crucial meeting with Conte to address lingering concerns and reassure the coach that the club's ambitions aligned with his own. Following the successful discussions, the Napoli president took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to announce: "FULL SPEED AHEAD. STRONGER THAN BEFORE!"

During the meeting, Conte reportedly reaffirmed his commitment to the Partenopei, insisting he had not engaged in talks with any other clubs despite the swirling rumors about Juventus.

Transfer Plans as Osimhen Set to Depart

While Conte's future has been secured, Nigerian international Victor Osimhen appears to be heading for the exit door. Despite being set to return from his loan spell at Turkish side Galatasaray, the striker is expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer.

Conte is already planning for life without Osimhen, with the club actively seeking reinforcements in attack. Napoli have been linked with Lille's Jonathan David, who will be available as a free agent, and Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund as potential replacements.

Osimhen, who has attracted interest from several European giants including Chelsea and Arsenal, reportedly has a €120 million offer to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia. Galatasaray manager has also indicated that the striker will carefully consider his options, with the Turkish club having set a deadline for him to decide his future.

As Napoli prepares to defend their Serie A title next season, Conte's decision to stay provides stability for the club while the anticipated departure of Osimhen signals a significant transition in their attacking lineup.
