Chelsea has emerged as one of three European clubs competing to sign Nigerian international Victor Osimhen in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to respected Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar.

The Premier League giants are joined by French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Turkish side Galatasaray in the race to secure the Super Eagles striker on a permanent deal. All three clubs will participate in next season's UEFA Champions League, potentially offering Osimhen the platform to showcase his talents at Europe's highest level.

"There are currently PSG, Chelsea and Galatasaray possibilities on the table," Çınar revealed via habersarikirmizi. "There are also two big offers from Saudi Arabia. The decision is awaited."

Osimhen's future has been the subject of intense speculation following his loan spell at Galatasaray. The Turkish club has reportedly given the Nigerian striker a one-week ultimatum to decide whether he will commit his long-term future to them or return to his parent club, Napoli, when his season-long loan expires in June.

The 25-year-old forward has previously indicated his preference regarding potential destinations. Reports suggest he has named a club he would never join, while expressing that he might prefer to remain at Galatasaray rather than return to Napoli.

The interest from Saudi Arabian clubs adds another dimension to Osimhen's transfer saga, with two substantial financial offers reportedly on the table from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

For Chelsea, securing Osimhen would represent a significant statement of intent as they look to strengthen their attacking options under manager Enzo Maresca, who is currently preparing his squad for the Europa Conference League final against Real Betis.

As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Osimhen's decision, which could potentially reshape the attacking lineup of whichever European giant secures his signature.
