Nigerian international Ademola Lookman is reportedly set to make his final appearance for Atalanta this weekend, as the Italian club prepares to entertain transfer offers for the prolific winger.
According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Lookman will feature for the last time in Atalanta colors when they host struggling Parma in their 2024/25 Serie A season finale at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo on Sunday.
The report indicates that Atalanta, managed by Gian Piero Gasperini, is now willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old forward, with a valuation of approximately €40 million placed on the player who joined from RB Leipzig in 2022.
Lookman has enjoyed an exceptional 2024/25 campaign, contributing 20 goals and providing seven assists across 39 appearances in all competitions, cementing his status as one of Serie A's standout performers.
The Nigerian star's impressive form has not gone unnoticed, attracting interest from several top European clubs. His potential departure would mark the end of a successful three-year spell with La Dea, during which he has established himself as a fan favorite and key attacking threat.
Lookman's journey in European football has seen him represent Everton and Fulham in the English Premier League before his move to Germany with RB Leipzig, and subsequently to Italy with Atalanta where he has truly flourished.
As speculation mounts over his future, all eyes will be on Lookman's performance in what could be his farewell match against Parma this weekend.
