Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has unveiled a 23-player squad for the upcoming friendly matches against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

The squad features key players including team captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defender Michelle Alozie, midfielder Toni Payne, and forward Rinsola Babajide.

Other notable inclusions are experienced defenders Osinachi Ohale, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Shukurat Oladipo. The midfield selection includes Deborah Abiodun and Jennifer Echegini, while forwards Ifeoma Onumonu and Francisca Ordega also made the cut.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), all invited players are expected to report to the Am2pm Hotel in Ijebu-Ode on Monday, May 26, 2025.

The first friendly match is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday, May 31, while the second encounter will be held at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta on Tuesday, June 3.

These friendly matches are expected to serve as crucial preparation for the Super Falcons ahead of the upcoming Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2024 tournament.

The Nigeria women's national team will be looking to use these fixtures to fine-tune their tactics and build team cohesion as they aim to reclaim the continental title they have won a record nine times.
