Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has publicly expressed regret over his previous criticism of music executive Jude Okoye regarding the ongoing dispute with singer Cynthia Morgan.

In a recent revelation, Verydarkman disclosed that he met Jude Okoye at an event where they discussed the controversy surrounding Cynthia Morgan's royalties and her music catalogue. The meeting appears to have dramatically changed his perspective on the situation.

According to Verydarkman, Jude Okoye presented compelling evidence that contradicts some of Cynthia Morgan's claims. This included a 2016 video showing Cynthia Morgan herself unveiling her new stage name, "Madrina" – directly challenging her assertion that Jude had restricted her from using her original stage name.

"I ran into Jude Okoye at an event and I approached him. I was like, 'Bros, this matter with Cynthia Morgan, how do we go take settle am? She is going through a lot. She said she is not getting her royalties and you are taking advantage of her. You also collected the rights to her name because no one knows her as Madrina,'" Verydarkman recounted.

The social media activist further revealed that Jude Okoye shared financial records indicating that Cynthia Morgan's royalties amounted to only $3,860 since her breakout year – a figure significantly lower than what might have been expected.

"Jude Okoye told me that Madrina unveiled her new name by herself. He told me that everything that he made from Cynthia Morgan was $3,860 so far. I asked Jude about all the money that Cynthia Morgan accused him of owing her aside from the royalties. Jude Okoye said that I should take his records to the best auditor, let them audit. If there is anything missing, I should call him out on social media," he explained.

Jude Okoye reportedly maintained that the agreement between him and Cynthia Morgan was drafted by the singer and her manager, with Okoye merely signing the document they presented.

After reviewing the evidence provided, Verydarkman admitted to feeling misled and foolish for his previous confrontational stance toward Jude Okoye. He has now called for Cynthia Morgan to publicly apologize to Jude Okoye for potentially damaging his reputation on social media.

This development adds a new dimension to the long-running dispute between the former Northside Entertainment signee and her ex-label boss, which has played out publicly across social media platforms over the past few years.

The controversy began when Cynthia Morgan accused Jude Okoye of withholding her royalties and preventing her from using her stage name after their professional relationship ended. These allegations significantly impacted both parties' reputations within the Nigerian music industry.

As of the time of reporting, Cynthia Morgan has not publicly responded to Verydarkman's latest statements or the evidence he claims Jude Okoye presented.
