Social media personality and activist, Vincent Otse Martins, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has explained his decision to relaunch the campaign seeking justice for late Nigerian musician, Mohbad.
In a recent Instagram post, VeryDarkMan addressed questions about his renewed involvement in the case, attributing his return to increased influence and better financial standing.
"So you want to know why I started this justice for Mohbad again, it is because, unlike before, I have more engagement, influence, followers, and most importantly more money. So it is the right time for me to fight on this matter," he stated.

VeryDarkMan firmly rejected accusations that he was using Mohbad's case for publicity or financial gain. He revealed that he has already spent close to N3 million on the case, including providing financial support to individuals connected to the late musician.
"I gave Mohbad's driver N300,000 and promised him a job because he is living from hand to mouth. You know how much I give Primeboy? He no fit sell music, nobody likes him anymore because of how that case went," he disclosed.
The activist expressed determination to see the case through to its conclusion, stating, "Since I have spent close to N3 million on this case because I am ready for it now and the boy will get justice, small small una go see am. Dem think say the matter don quench, e never quench."
Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died under controversial circumstances in September 2023, sparking widespread calls for investigation into the cause of his death and demands for justice.
