Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, has made a bold claim about his status in the Nigerian music industry, declaring himself "arguably the hottest artist in Nigeria" despite maintaining what he describes as a humble approach to his celebrity status.

The "Pity This Boy" hitmaker made these remarks during a recent appearance on the Jusmen 105.7 podcast, where he appeared alongside other members of the Antiworld Gang. During the interview, Odumodublvck highlighted his decision to serve as a classroom corper in Osun State as evidence of his humility.

"Music is more than the 'music.' I'm arguably the hottest artist in the country right now. But I'm still driving six hours to Ife while turning down offers worth millions of Naira just to serve schoolchildren," the rapper stated.

Explaining his motivation for undertaking National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) duties despite his fame, Odumodublvck shared a deeper perspective: "The main reason I'm serving the kids is because the closest thing to God is the children. So, if you serve children, you serve whatever purpose that you are after."

This statement comes amid an ongoing public exchange between Odumodublvck and fellow rapper Blaqbonez, with both artists engaging in what appears to be an industry rivalry. The Antiworld frontman has previously addressed Blaqbonez directly, suggesting their disagreement extends "beyond rap."

Odumodublvck has been increasingly visible in Nigeria's entertainment landscape, recently making headlines when his mother publicly prayed for Nigerian football stars Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface. He has also spoken out on social issues, including his reaction to killings in Benue State, which he described as "insane."

The rapper has previously addressed allegations of misogyny in his music and publicly credited Afrobeats superstar Davido with "teaching him how to love his woman."
