The Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has revealed that he is experiencing significant pressure to remarry following the death of his wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo, a former beauty queen who passed away in June 2020.

Speaking during an interview on Nigerian Info 99.3, Pastor Ighodalo disclosed that while he initially believed remarrying would be impossible after his wife's death, his perspective has gradually evolved with time.

"To be honest, when Ibidun died I thought it was impossible because I had given her so much and thought I had no more to give," he stated. "But time heals and compensates, people are putting me under a lot of pressure but I'm not listening, I'm listening to my heart."

Considering Remarriage Carefully

The clergyman emphasized that he is approaching the possibility of remarriage with careful consideration, noting that at his "age, level and stage," he needs to be thoughtful about such decisions.

"My heart is telling me that it's still possible. At my age, level and stage, you will know things – I'm not running around anymore," he added.

When asked if he currently has a girlfriend, Pastor Ighodalo responded: "I'm a pastor, at the moment I'm praying, hoping and believing God. It's not an easy decision, there are many moving parts and there are many things to consider."

"So before I can get to that place, I need to cross all the Ts and dot all the Is," he explained.

Life After Loss

Since the passing of his wife in 2020, Pastor Ighodalo has dedicated himself to raising their two adopted children—a boy and a girl—while continuing his ministry work at Trinity House.

The pastor's candid discussion about potentially remarrying offers a glimpse into his personal journey of healing and moving forward while honoring his late wife's memory.
