Tragedy struck on Monday night in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, as suspected bike snatchers shot and killed a commercial motorcyclist identified as Joseph Abeegye.
The incident reportedly occurred along Nyisom Wike Street, where the attackers ambushed the victim, fatally shot him, and fled with his motorcycle.
Sources told BenriNews that the assailants carried out the attack and escaped before security operatives could intervene.
