Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has penned an open letter to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to address the escalating insecurity and economic hardship facing Nigerians.

In the letter posted on his Instagram page on Monday, Edochie, who has been a vocal supporter of Tinubu, acknowledged the administration's achievements in infrastructure development but emphasized that more needs to be done to alleviate the suffering of ordinary citizens.

"His Excellency Sir, you have done so well in infrastructure and laid down some good policies. Tackle insecurity and high cost of living and you'll write your name with gold in the hearts of Nigerians," Edochie wrote.

Public Sentiment and National Challenges

The actor clarified that Nigerians do not harbor personal animosity toward the President but are frustrated by the difficult conditions they currently face. His appeal comes amid growing concerns about the deteriorating security situation and the excruciating economic hardship across the country.

Edochie's message reflects the sentiments of many Nigerians who have been grappling with soaring inflation, food insecurity, and persistent security challenges in various parts of the country.

The actor's intervention adds to the growing calls from various stakeholders for the government to implement more effective measures to address these pressing national issues.
