Abdulmannan Abubakar Giro, the ninth son of renowned Islamic scholar, late Sheikh Abubakar Giro Argungu, has passed away on Saturday following a brief illness. His death comes nearly two years after his father's passing in September 2023.
Abdulmannan, a graduate of Maryam Abacha University, served as the head of his father's social media accounts during the late cleric's lifetime. Family sources confirmed that funeral prayers were held at 2:30 pm at the Eid Prayer Ground in Argungu, Kebbi State.
The news has plunged the Argungu community and followers of the late scholar into mourning. The family has requested prayers for the deceased, seeking Allah's forgiveness and mercy for his soul.
