Former US President Donald Trump has urged Iran to conclude an agreement with Washington on its controversial nuclear programme following a series of Israeli strikes on nuclear facilities and military leaders.

In a post on his Truth Social platform on Friday, Trump warned Iran to act quickly, stating, "Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE."

The former president's comments come amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. According to Israeli media reports, Iran had retaliated against recent Israeli actions with an attack involving approximately 100 drones, all of which were reportedly intercepted and shot down.

"I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. The US makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come and they know how to use it," Trump wrote in his social media post.

Diplomatic Challenges Amid Military Actions

Political observers consider it unlikely that Iran's leadership would opt for a diplomatic approach in light of the recent Israeli attacks, which have reportedly targeted nuclear facilities and resulted in the deaths of several senior military commanders.

The situation has drawn international attention, with the United Nations, United States, Saudi Arabia, China, and other nations issuing responses to Israel's military actions against Iran.

Israel has claimed success in what it calls "Operation Rising Lion," stating that it has killed several top Iranian military officials. In response, Iran has appointed new military leaders to replace those lost in the Israeli airstrikes.

The ongoing conflict represents one of the most significant escalations in tensions between Israel and Iran in recent years, with potential implications for regional stability and international diplomatic efforts.
