US President Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on his predecessor Joe Biden, claiming that what Biden "did to the United States of America should never be forgotten."

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Tuesday, Trump accused Biden of allowing "Iranian terrorist sleeper cells" to infiltrate the United States during his administration.

"Biden let a lot of supercells into the United States. He was an incompetent president. He had no idea what he was doing," Trump stated when questioned about potential Iranian retaliation following recent US strikes against three nuclear sites in Iran last weekend.

The 79-year-old Republican leader further emphasized, "Among everything else, he [Biden] let a lot of supercells in, many from Iran. But hopefully we will take care of them. What Biden did to this country should never be forgotten."

Rising Tensions with Iran

Trump's comments come amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran following American military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. The situation has raised concerns about potential retaliatory actions from Iran on US soil.

In related developments, Trump has recently claimed credit for "destroying nuclear threats" and announced an Israel-Iran "total ceasefire" agreement. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has reportedly agreed to Trump's proposal for a ceasefire with Iran.

The former president has also mocked what he described as Iran's "very weak" retaliation and urged Israel to "proceed to peace."

These developments mark significant shifts in Middle Eastern geopolitics and US foreign policy under the Trump administration, with potential long-term implications for regional stability and US-Iran relations.
