President Bola Tinubu has officially commissioned the rehabilitated International Conference Centre in Abuja, now renamed the Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre, during a ceremony that highlighted the administration's focus on infrastructure development.

During the commissioning event, President Tinubu praised Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, referring to him as "the landlord of Abuja" while emphasizing the importance of proper facility management.

"Once again, I say to all of you Barka de Sallah. We must listen to the landlord of Abuja. If you want to use this place, you have to pay for it," the President stated, suggesting a new approach to the utilization of the renovated facility.

The President further emphasized that his administration recognizes modern infrastructure as "the backbone of economic prosperity," signaling continued investment in critical public facilities across the nation.

The renaming of the facility after the sitting president marks a significant moment for the administration, which has been implementing various infrastructure projects across the Federal Capital Territory under Minister Wike's leadership.

The International Conference Centre, a key venue for high-profile national and international events in Nigeria's capital, has undergone extensive rehabilitation to meet modern standards and enhance its functionality.

This commissioning comes as part of ongoing efforts by the FCT administration to revitalize public infrastructure in Abuja, with several other projects currently underway across the territory.
