Popular Nigerian singer and activist Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has revealed that he took suggestive nude pictures about 30 years ago because he had what he described as a "banging body."

In a candid post on his X handle on Tuesday, the controversial entertainer also claimed that women consistently pursued him despite knowing he was married at the time.

"There are times and seasons in everyone's life," Charly Boy wrote. "I heard stories of my beloved late father when he was single and young. He attended Achimota College in Ghana."

The 'Area Fada' drew parallels between himself and his father, noting that his father was also known for showing off his physique. "Rumours had it that women no let the fine Bobo rest. He was always showing off his body 'cos he was a gym rat too," he stated.

Continuing his revelation, Charly Boy explained, "30 years ago, I took some suggestive nude pictures because I knew I had a banging body, and the women no let me rest even when they all knew I was married. Yea! You can say, na my papa born me."

The 73-year-old entertainer has been married to his current wife, Diane Oputa, for over four decades, though he has previously spoken about the challenges they've faced in their relationship.

Charly Boy, known for his eccentric personality and social activism, has remained a controversial figure in Nigerian entertainment, often using his platform to speak on social and political issues affecting the country.
