Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has sparked controversy by claiming that men are not biologically designed to be sexually faithful to one woman.

The singer made these remarks during a recent interview with media personality Nedu, just five months after announcing his separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia.

When asked if it was possible for him to be loyal, 2Face responded: "I have said this a couple of days ago, and I got into trouble for it but I didn't care about that. Man no fits, I don't know ooo but let me talk for my own self. I no go talk about other men."

He further elaborated, "A man is not built to sexually be with one woman. Man can give his heart and love to one woman, but it's impossible for a man to sexually be with one woman."

Relationship History and Public Reaction

The singer's divorce announcement in February 2025 generated significant controversy on social media, particularly among fellow celebrities. Shortly after the separation, 2Face publicly introduced his new partner, Natasha Osawuru.

Prior to their separation, Annie had repeatedly accused the singer of infidelity throughout their marriage. She had previously revealed that 2Face fathered five children with other women outside their marriage.

This latest statement from the music icon has reignited discussions about fidelity in relationships and traditional views on marriage in Nigerian society.

The "African Queen" hitmaker's comments come at a time when conversations about modern relationships and traditional expectations continue to evolve across Nigeria and globally.
