Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Uche Ogah, has pledged his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections, assuring victory in Abia State through the Renewed Hope Partners initiative.
Speaking in Umuahia on Saturday after meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, Ogah expressed confidence in delivering electoral success for the President in the state.
"When we are united, everyone has a part to play. I can confidently tell you, the President can go to sleep," Ogah stated during his visit to the Abia State Secretariat of the Renewed Hope Partners.
The former Minister's declaration signals growing support for Tinubu's administration in the South-Eastern state, potentially strengthening the President's political base in a region where his party has historically faced challenges.
In response, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu expressed appreciation for Ogah's commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda and assured that President Tinubu would not take any support given to him for granted.
This development comes as political alignments begin to take shape ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with various stakeholders positioning themselves within the ruling party's structure.
The Renewed Hope Partners initiative appears to be gaining momentum as a grassroots mobilization vehicle for the President's re-election bid, particularly in regions where additional political support is being cultivated.
