Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has strongly denied rumors that the Tanzanian government financed her daughter Priscilla Ojo's wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

The actress's response comes after Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi warned Priscilla to stop posting romantic content with her husband until after Tanzania's upcoming elections.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Ojo described Kimambi's warning as an attempt to intimidate the newlyweds. "I am appalled by your audacity! Calling my daughter and her husband's content stupid. You trying to drum fear & intimidation is unacceptable. Keep her out of your affairs. My daughter will post what she likes," Ojo wrote.

Addressing the funding rumors directly, the actress clarified: "Regarding the wedding rumors, it is not your government that gave us the money. It is a tradition in my family. I want an elaborate wedding for my daughter in Nigeria, and we, the Nigerians, gave her one."

The actress emphasized her protective stance toward her daughter, stating firmly, "I don't joke with my daughter."

Priscilla Ojo's wedding to Juma Jux has been a topic of discussion across social media platforms, with the elaborate celebration drawing attention from fans in both Nigeria and Tanzania.
