Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid a heartfelt tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, by wearing specially crafted cufflinks bearing the boy's image during his lavish white wedding to long-time love Chioma Rowland in Miami, United States.

The singer took to his Instagram story on Sunday to share a photo of the sentimental accessory, showcasing the deeply personal touch he incorporated into his wedding attire for the special occasion.

The white wedding ceremony, which followed the couple's traditional ceremony held in 2024, attracted prominent personalities from Nigeria's business, political, and entertainment circles. Several music stars including Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile were in attendance, having earlier participated in the couple's pre-wedding dinner.

Speaking about the extravagance of the event, Davido revealed the ceremony cost a staggering $3.7 million. "We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It's crazy," he said, highlighting the scale of the celebration.

The Miami celebration marks a significant milestone for the couple, who have remained together through various challenges, including the tragic loss of their son Ifeanyi in October 2022. The custom cufflinks serve as a poignant reminder of their child's enduring presence in their lives, even on their wedding day.

This white wedding comes after years of anticipation from fans who have followed the couple's relationship journey, which has been in the public eye since Davido featured Chioma in his music video for "Assurance" in 2018.
