Abakaliki FC defender, Ifeanyi Ezema, has declared that the team is fully prepared and focused on their upcoming 2025 President Federation Cup final clash against Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Kwara United.
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Ezema acknowledged that they are expecting a tough battle against the NPFL side but emphasized that the team is determined to give their all in the match.

The defender revealed that a victory in the final would serve as consolation for their poor performance in the Nigeria National League (NNL) this season and would be a fitting reward for their supporters and the people of Ebonyi State.
"We're prepared and fully focused on the President Federation Cup final against Kwara United," Ezema told BenriNews. "It won't be an easy match, we know that but we're going to give it our all, knowing that victory in the final will serve as the only compensation to our supporters, the government, and the people of Ebonyi State for standing behind us throughout the campaign."
The Rice Boys, as Abakaliki FC are fondly called, have shown impressive form in the cup competition despite their struggles in the league. Ezema expressed confidence that they can replicate their cup form that saw them defeat several top teams en route to the final.
"Against Kwara United in the President Federation Cup final, we hope to fight and replicate that form which saw us beat these top teams, by the grace of God," he added.
