President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to four of Nigeria's most prominent business leaders, describing Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Abdul Samad Rabiu, and Jim Ovia as the country's "four wise men" during an infrastructure commissioning event in Lagos.

The president made these remarks on Thursday while commissioning the access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port, highlighting the contributions of these industrialists to Nigeria's economic development.

"I landed here with four wise men: Jim Ovia of Zenith Bank, who is acknowledged worldwide; Femi Otedola, my baby brother; Samad Rabiu of BUA," Tinubu stated during the ceremony.

The president reserved special praise for Africa's richest man, adding, "And I believe, the wisest of them all, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who is so daring in thinking and doing and believing in his own country."

In a significant gesture during the event, Dangote named the main road leading to his refinery after President Tinubu, symbolizing the close relationship between the administration and the business community.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Aliko Dangote himself, Lagos Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, and Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru, among others.

This public recognition of Nigeria's business titans comes as the administration continues to emphasize public-private partnerships in its economic development agenda, particularly in infrastructure development and industrialization efforts.

The Lekki Deep Sea Port represents one of Nigeria's most significant infrastructure projects in recent years, aimed at boosting the country's maritime trade capabilities and economic diversification.
