All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and youth leader, Comrade Isaac Balami, has urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu's administration, emphasizing that "hope is on the way" despite current challenges.

In a statement personally signed by the former Obi/Datti National Deputy Campaign Manager, Balami acknowledged the significant milestones achieved by President Tinubu in his two years in office while noting that the country's recovery requires time after years of what he described as "incompetent leadership."

"It's not yet 'uhuru' because the country had been left in the hands of incompetent leaders for several years," Balami stated, adding that "the rebuilding process takes a longer time."

Praise for Zulum's Courage

The APC chieftain also commended Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum for his courage in confronting insurgents threatening the state's security. Balami highlighted that both Tinubu and Zulum share similar visions as they work to restore stability to the nation and Borno State respectively.

"Any governor who goes with the military to confront the enemies is clearly selfless and understands the concept of modern leadership," Balami remarked, praising Zulum's hands-on approach to governance amid security challenges.

Tinubu's Achievements Highlighted

Balami pointed to several achievements under Tinubu's administration, including improvements in agriculture that reportedly led to an 8 percent drop in inflation and reduced prices of essential food items like tomatoes, maize, and rice.

He also praised the President's tax reforms, efforts to revive the mining industry, and the autonomy granted to local governments across the nation.

On security, Balami urged the President "not to be discouraged" despite recent challenges, acknowledging earlier successes that had enabled many Borno farmers to return to their farms.

Youth Inclusion and Middle Belt Support

The youth leader expressed appreciation for Tinubu's inclusive policies, particularly regarding youth representation in government, though he added that "like Oliver Twist, we will continue to ask for more representations."

Balami assured the President of continued support from Middle Belt youths, noting that the current administration has included more people from the Middle Belt than previous governments. "Middle Beltans are found in this government more than any government in the past, hence 2027 is a payback year," he stated.

Call for Collaborative Efforts

The APC chieftain called on President Tinubu and Governor Zulum to work collectively to completely degrade insurgents, while urging all Borno indigenes to rally behind their governor in addressing security challenges.

Balami concluded by encouraging the administration to focus on "people-friendly policies" that would help citizens understand the benefits of difficult decisions like subsidy removal, which he described as being implemented "for their sake and for the sake of the unborn generation."
