Hon. Sunday Adewale Omofojoye, the Councillor representing Ward A in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, has passed away. The councillor died on Saturday evening at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) where he had been receiving medical treatment.

While the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed, sources close to the situation revealed that Omofojoye had been undergoing treatment at the hospital prior to his passing.
