The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three suspected cultists following an intelligence-led operation in the Owode-Ikorodu area of Lagos State. The suspects were found in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition, according to police reports.
The three suspects, identified as Adenuga Tosin, Jesutofunmi Ezekiel, and Adeniji Juwon, were apprehended after the Command's tactical team acted on credible intelligence about their activities in the area.
During the operation, officers recovered a locally made pistol and six live cartridges from the suspects, items that pose significant security risks in the hands of criminal elements.
Cult Activities and Firearms Distribution
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the suspects are active members of a notorious cult group involved in violent criminal activities across Lagos State. Further findings indicated their involvement in facilitating the movement and distribution of illegal firearms throughout various parts of the state.

According to the Command, efforts are currently ongoing to track down other members of the syndicate who remain at large. The arrested suspects will face prosecution upon the conclusion of investigations, in accordance with legal procedures.
