Popular Nigerian comedian turned singer, Nasboi, has launched an unusual campaign to secure a music collaboration with Afrobeats superstar Davido, embarking on what he calls a "36 states kneeling tour" across Nigeria.

The campaign, which commenced on Wednesday, involves Nasboi kneeling in strategic locations across all 36 Nigerian states over a 36-day period, holding placards to draw attention to his request for a verse from Davido after what he describes as "several failed attempts" to collaborate with the music icon.

Nasboi revealed that he has been mimicking Davido for the past five years in an effort to get the singer's attention for his music career. The comedian-turned-musician kicked off his tour at the Osun State Government Secretariat, symbolically starting in Davido's home state.

By Thursday, Nasboi had already moved to his second location, where he was photographed kneeling at the Kano State government house, continuing his public plea for Davido's attention.

Announcing the campaign on Instagram, Nasboi shared photos of himself kneeling while holding placards with his message. He captioned his post: "I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass. Please just tag @davido everyday when you see the post."

The creative campaign has already begun generating buzz on social media, with fans and followers showing interest in Nasboi's unusual approach to securing a collaboration with one of Africa's biggest music stars.

Nasboi, who transitioned from comedy to music, appears determined to leverage this public campaign to finally achieve his long-sought collaboration with Davido, whose recent activities have included visits to political figures and a publicized reunion with his daughter Imade after a reported custody dispute.

As the kneeling tour continues, many are watching to see if this unconventional approach will finally catch Davido's attention and result in the musical collaboration Nasboi has been pursuing for years.
