Aradel Holdings Plc has successfully hosted its 2025 Annual Supplier Forum in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, bringing together strategic partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders under the theme "Unlocking Value through Quality & Technology."

Now in its second year, the forum serves as a cornerstone of Aradel's strategy to build resilient, innovative, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships within Nigeria's energy sector. The event provided a platform for suppliers to showcase technological advancements, discuss quality standards, and explore opportunities for shared growth.

Speaking at the event, Adegbite Falade, Chief Executive Officer/MD of Aradel Holdings Plc, emphasized the importance of strong supplier partnerships in driving innovation and operational excellence. "This year's forum underscores our focus on leveraging technology and upholding the highest standards of quality to unlock greater value for all stakeholders," Falade stated.

He acknowledged the vital contributions of the company's suppliers and contractors, noting that their "innovation, reliability, and alignment with our values have played an essential role in defining our success and helping us maintain high HSE standards."

Chukwuma Nkwodinmah, Head of Supply Chain Management at Aradel, reinforced this message in his welcome address, stating that "quality and technology are no longer just support functions — they are core to sustainable growth, performance, and long-term value creation."

Digital Transformation in Focus

The forum featured several keynote presentations highlighting the role of technology in the energy sector. Frank Uchenna Ndulue, Director of New Business at H-PTP Energy Services Ltd, provided insights on how technology has been leveraged to maximize production and reduce operational challenges.

Michael Ukpong, Managing Director of C2G Consulting Limited, described how digitalization is transforming the energy industry and commended Aradel for leading the way in digital transformation. He encouraged suppliers to embrace the SAP Ariba system, which enables direct supplier and contract management.

Seleke-Ere Owoupele, Manager of Servicom at NCDMB, addressed Nigerian Content and Value Creation in the Oil & Gas Industry, providing an in-depth overview of the NOGICD Act of 2010.

A panel discussion on 'Unlocking Value Through Strategic Supplier Alliances' explored the critical role of innovation and digitalization in the supply chain. The panel emphasized collaboration, proactive change management, and the importance of training frontline staff who serve as the first point of contact in supplier relationships.

The panel featured representatives from Aradel's executive leadership, including Temitayo Ogunbanjo, General Manager of Refineries, and Olarewaju Daramola, General Manager of Commercial, alongside representatives from NCDMB, NUPRC, H-PTP Energy Services Ltd, and C2G Consulting Limited. Theresa Ewuzie, Head of Facilities Management at Aradel Holdings Plc, moderated the discussion.
