Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, the Rivers State Sole Administrator, has appointed eleven new permanent secretaries in a move aimed at strengthening the state's administrative structure.
The appointment was announced through a Special Government Announcement released in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, signed by the state's Acting Head of Service, Inyingi Brown.

According to the statement, "The newly appointed permanent secretaries will be sworn in by His Excellency, the Administrator of Rivers State, on a date to be announced."
