The wife of Osun State Governor, Mrs. Titilola Adeleke, has commemorated the 2025 Children's Day celebration by describing children as "the heartbeat of every society" in a special message released on Tuesday.

In her personally signed statement obtained by BenriNews, Mrs. Adeleke emphasized the significant role children play in society, noting that "in their laughter, we find hope, in their dreams, we see possibilities, and in their courage, we are reminded of the strength it takes to imagine a better tomorrow."

The Osun First Lady reaffirmed her commitment to nurturing a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child can flourish. "Let us protect their innocence, empower their curiosity, and ensure that their rights are upheld at all times," she stated.

Mrs. Adeleke also assured that the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke would continue to uphold children's rights across the state, highlighting the importance of creating conditions where children can "grow, learn, and thrive."

Addressing children directly in her message, she said: "You are loved, you are valued, and your dreams matter. Keep believing in yourselves, because the world needs your light."

Children's Day is celebrated annually on May 27 in Nigeria, with various activities organized across the country to honor and celebrate children while raising awareness about their rights and welfare.
