Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has shared details of his weekend activities across three states, which included attending a church dedication alongside former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Imo State.

In a statement released on his social media platforms, Obi described his weekend as "crowded but spiritually very rewarding" as he participated in several significant events.

The former Anambra State governor joined Obasanjo and other dignitaries at the Assemblies of God Ogbor Uvuru, Mbaise District in Imo State for the dedication of Noah's Ark Church. He expressed hope that the church would help the community "understand their role in how to contribute more for a better, just and united society."

Following the church dedication, Obi traveled to Umuahia, Abia State, to attend one of Governor Alex Otti's second-anniversary church services held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Aguiyi-Ironsi Layout. He offered prayers for Governor Otti, asking that God continue to "endow him with profound wisdom and unwavering strength to continue to serve the people of Abia with excellence and compassion."

Obi concluded his busy weekend schedule in Lagos, where he attended the wedding celebration of "the young Mr. and Mrs. Nwapa." He extended his blessings to the newlyweds, wishing that their union be "richly blessed with love and peace" and that they contribute positively to society's growth.

The former presidential candidate continues to maintain an active public presence across Nigeria, engaging with various communities and political figures since the 2023 general elections.
