The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Evangelist Azzaman Azzaman, the General Overseer of The King Worship Chapel and Ministries.

According to a statement released by Northern CAN, Evangelist Azzaman died in a fatal motor accident along the Idon axis of Kaduna State. The religious body described the late preacher as "a prophetic voice, a bridge-builder, and a spiritual father" whose sudden departure represents a significant loss to the Christian community in Kaduna State and beyond.

In the statement signed by the Chairman of Northern CAN, Rev. Dr. Joseph John Hayab, the late evangelist was characterized as "a courageous voice for the gospel and an unrelenting advocate for the rights of persecuted Christians."

"Kaduna has truly lost a great soldier of Christ. Evangelist Azzaman stood tall in defense of Christianity, fearlessly speaking out against injustice and persecution," the statement read.

While mourning his unexpected departure, the Christian body expressed comfort in the belief that Azzaman had completed his earthly mission and now rests in eternal glory. The statement added, "Though his departure leaves a great vacuum in the Christian community, we rejoice in the assurance that he has finished his race and now rests in the eternal glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

Northern CAN extended heartfelt condolences to Evangelist Azzaman's family, congregation, and all those touched by his ministry, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul and noting that his legacy will continue to inspire courage and faith among believers.
