Nigerian street music sensation Seyi Vibez has entered into a strategic partnership with global music distribution company EMPIRE, marking a significant milestone in his rapidly growing career. To celebrate this new chapter, the artist has released a new single titled "Pressure."

The 24-year-old artist described "Pressure" as "a complete shift from my usual sound" in a statement announcing the release. Unlike his typical gritty street vibe, the new track embraces melody and emotional depth, showcasing his artistic range.

"It leans into melody, intimacy and raw emotion. It's smoother, softer and more intentional," Seyi explained. "I wanted to show my range, to prove that I can give you fire and tenderness in the same breath. This track is about the quiet power of love and attention."

Seyi Vibez burst onto the Nigerian music scene in 2022 with his debut album "Billion Dollar Baby," which skillfully blended various genres into a distinctive sound that captured the rhythms of his Lagos neighborhood. Since then, he has been remarkably prolific, releasing multiple singles, albums, and EPs.

His most recent project, "Children of Africa," released in February, saw all four of its tracks reach the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. According to Luminate, his catalog has accumulated over 400 million on-demand streams in the United States alone.

Throughout his career, Seyi has collaborated with prominent artists including Burna Boy, Olamide, Young Jonn, Kizz Daniel, BNXN, Russ, and NLE Choppa, among others.

Mobolaji Kareem, EMPIRE's regional head of West Africa, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "We are happy to partner with Seyi Vibez, an artist whose vocal dexterity and versatility truly stand out. He is a great fit and we look forward to helping his continued growth as a global artist."

Speaking about this new phase in his career, Seyi shared, "I'm stepping into this new chapter with the spirit of my ancestors. I carry the energy of Orisa: the guardian, the protector, the voice of the city."

EMPIRE has been expanding its presence in the African music market in recent years, working with various artists across the continent to help amplify African sounds globally.

This partnership represents another significant step in the continued global recognition of Nigerian music talent and the growing international appeal of the Afrobeats genre.
