The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from the North Central region have officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement came during an APC North Central Stakeholders' meeting held in Abuja, where participants passed a vote of confidence in Tinubu's leadership, citing his transformative governance and development initiatives in the region.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, moved the motion for the endorsement, which was seconded by Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago.
The stakeholders specifically commended President Tinubu for establishing the North Central Development Commission and creating forest guards, which they described as significant achievements benefiting the region.
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, who serves as Chairman of the North Central States Governors Forum, pledged the region's commitment to unity and continued development under Tinubu's leadership.
"The North Central region has witnessed remarkable progress under President Tinubu's administration, and we are committed to supporting his vision for Nigeria," Governor Sule stated.
APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who was also present at the meeting, noted that President Tinubu's policies are yielding positive results across the country.
The high-profile meeting attracted numerous dignitaries from the North Central region, including governors, former governors, ministers, federal lawmakers, and members of the APC national working committee.
