Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has approved the appointment of new secretaries for all 21 local government areas in the state, according to an official statement released on Monday.

The announcement was made by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

Among the newly appointed secretaries are Muhammad Sani Aliero for Aliero Local Government, Zainab Hassan Kangiwa for Arewa Local Government, and Lawali Target for Argungu Local Government.

Other appointees include Dallatu Muhammad for Augie Local Government, Mohammed Usman Gawamba for Bagudo Local Government, Ahmed Magaji Zauro for Birnin Kebbi Local Government, Mohammed Umar Bunza for Bunza Local Government, and Abdulkadir Mohammed Kamba for Dandi Local Government.

The list continues with Rabi'u Bena (Danko Wasagu), Aliyu Abubakar (Fakai), Aliyu Shayau Dalijan (Gwandu), Sabi'u Dantani Jandutse (Jega), Umar Faruq Sama'ila (Kalgo), Suleiman Rabi'u (Koko/Besse), and Buhari A. Bawa (Maiyama).

Completing the appointments are Aliyu Mohammed Libata (Ngaski), Aliyu Umar Diri (Sakaba), Aminiu Muhammad Arzuka (Shanga), Abdullahi Kwakware (Suru), Nasiru G. Dantani (Yauri), and AbdurRahman Manga (Zuru).

In his statement, the SSG urged the newly appointed officials to justify the confidence placed in them by working diligently toward the progress of their respective councils and the overall development of Kebbi State.

These appointments come as part of Governor Idris's efforts to strengthen local governance and enhance service delivery across all local government areas in Kebbi State.
