Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday met with his former boss, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, and other political heavyweights at the NAF Centre in Abuja for a high-profile book launch.
The gathering was for the launch and public presentation of a book titled "Being True to Myself" authored by former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido.
Among the notable figures present at the event was former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, alongside several other prominent politicians.
Atiku confirmed his attendance through a post on his official Facebook page stating, "I just arrived at the NAF Centre in Abuja for the launch and public presentation of a book titled: 'Being True to Myself' by my good friend and associate, the former Governor of Jigawa State, His Excellency Sule Lamido."
The event is expected to serve as a platform for political discourse, with several attendees anticipated to address the current state of the nation during the proceedings.
This gathering comes at a significant time in Nigeria's political landscape, bringing together influential figures from different political backgrounds under one roof.
The book, authored by Lamido who served as Jigawa State Governor from 2007 to 2015, is expected to contain insights from his political career and personal experiences in Nigerian governance.
