The Allied Conservative Congress (ACC) has reaffirmed its commitment to winning Nigeria's 2027 presidential election, vowing to implement a conservative governance model that would transform the nation's trajectory.

In a statement issued by the party's National Chairman, Rev. Olusegun Peters, the ACC promised to "redirect the ship of the nation to the path of rectitude, development, advancement and prosperity anchored on conservative ideology."

The party assured Nigerians of a better society if elected, emphasizing governance in accordance with Section 14(2)b of the 1999 Constitution, which states that the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.

"We feel the pains of fellow compatriots who desire and deserve dividends of democracy to assuage their sufferings and restore their confidence in the fatherland," the statement read. "We have the political will and pragmatic leadership to transform the nation and build the Nigeria of our dream."

The ACC urged its members to focus on membership drives and strengthening party structures to welcome citizens who have become disillusioned with what they described as "misplaced progressivism" in the country's current political landscape.

"It is time to sail Nigeria to a glorious destination of genuine democracy, peace, national unity, security and prosperity," the statement continued. "We enjoin citizens to identify with ACC to make Nigeria great again. This is our chance to turnaround the destiny of our dear nation."

The ACC's declaration comes amid increasing political activities across various parties as they begin positioning themselves for the 2027 general elections. Political analysts note that this early declaration might be strategic as the party seeks to establish itself as a viable alternative to the major political parties currently dominating Nigeria's political space.
