President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Ms. Rinsola Abiola as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), according to an announcement made on Monday.
Abiola, a specialist in strategic communications and government relations, previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President, bringing significant experience to her new role at the helm of the CLTC.
The appointment was disclosed by Bayo Onanuga, the President's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, who also announced another key appointment in the same statement.
In a related development, President Tinubu named Nasir Bala Aminu Ja'oji as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership. Ja'oji's appointment brings valuable experience to the administration, as he previously served as Special Adviser on Mobilisation to the Kano State governor.
Ja'oji is also a member of the Governing Council of the Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups and has built a reputation for his advocacy work in women's and youth empowerment initiatives across northern Nigeria.
These appointments reflect President Tinubu's ongoing efforts to strengthen key institutions and bring experienced professionals into government service as his administration continues to implement its governance agenda.
The Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, now under Abiola's leadership, plays a significant role in fostering leadership skills and civic responsibility among Nigerians through various training programs and initiatives.
