Nigerian music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef, has addressed the ongoing feud between him and social media activist, VeryDarkMan, amid the controversy surrounding the late singer Mohbad's case.

In a recent video, Samklef dismissed allegations that VeryDarkMan paid N20 million to obtain information about a controversial group chat involving various celebrities allegedly linked to Mohbad's death.

"VeryDarkMan did not pay anybody 20 million to get information regarding the group chat. He said that the person who leaked the chat was inside the group," Samklef clarified.

The music producer expressed frustration over the lack of appreciation from both the music industry and Mohbad's family for his efforts in seeking justice for the late singer.

"If the father of Mohbad is quiet, why should I be fighting? I don't have any personal interest in this case. Why should I be crying more than the bereaved," he questioned.

Samklef further lamented, "How will you feel if you were in my shoes, where people are insulting you for having a genuine reason to fight for justice?"

The producer reflected on the situation, saying, "I con sit down think about this whole thing, like why we dey fight, even the family sef no appreciate wetin we dey do. The judiciary said Naira Marley and Sam Larry are free, did you see me online ranting or questioning that decision?"

"The whole industry ganged up against me," he added, highlighting the isolation he feels within the Nigerian music scene.

Samklef urged everyone involved in the case to cease fighting, emphasizing that revenge would not bring solace to Mohbad's soul, especially as the late singer is yet to be properly laid to rest.

"My brothers, revenge is not a solution, because it will keep on dragging on. Mohbad's soul is not at rest. Everyone should cease fire and stop fighting," the music producer advised.

The controversy comes amid a larger dispute involving several Nigerian celebrities who were allegedly part of a WhatsApp group that VeryDarkMan claims sabotaged justice for Mohbad. Recent reports indicate that Davido unfollowed actress Iyabo Ojo after VeryDarkMan leaked these group chats.
