Adebayo Oluwatomisin has completed a move to Ikorodu City FC, signing a two-year contract ahead of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, BenriNews can confirm.
The promising midfielder joins the Lagos-based outfit from Nationwide League One (NLO) side Ilaji FC as part of the club's recruitment drive to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.
According to club sources, Oluwatomisin has already integrated with his new teammates and commenced training sessions with the Oga Boys, as they are popularly known among their supporters.
The acquisition of Oluwatomisin is part of a broader recruitment strategy by Ikorodu City, who have been actively bolstering their squad with several new signings during this transfer window to improve their performance in the forthcoming season.
Ikorodu City will begin their 2025-26 NPFL campaign with an away fixture against Kwara United in Ilorin. The new season is scheduled to kick off on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The club will be hoping that their new acquisitions, including Oluwatomisin, will make significant contributions as they aim to improve their standing in Nigeria's top-flight football league.
