Serie A giants Inter Milan have officially confirmed the signing of versatile Nigerian forward Richi Agbonifo from league rivals Hellas Verona on a permanent deal.

The 19-year-old talent joins the 2024-25 Champions League finalists after spending thirteen years developing at Verona, having joined their youth academy at the age of six.

Agbonifo is known for his versatility on the pitch, capable of playing as a second striker, centre forward, midfielder, and winger, giving Inter Milan's coaching staff multiple tactical options.

This transfer comes as Inter Milan continues their pursuit of another Nigerian talent, Ademola Lookman. BenriNews understands that the Nerazzurri are set to return to the negotiation table with Atalanta, hoping to reach an agreement for Lookman, who has reportedly expressed eagerness to move to San Siro.

The acquisition of Agbonifo represents Inter Milan's commitment to investing in young talent with significant potential, while the possible addition of established international Lookman would further strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season.

Inter Milan has reportedly set a deadline for completing the Lookman deal, with negotiations at a critical stage after previous offers were rejected by Atalanta.
