Turkish football transfer expert, Süleyman Rodop has revealed that Galatasaray will not submit a new offer for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen after Napoli's stringent conditions effectively ended negotiations between the clubs.

Napoli had demanded Galatasaray pay an initial €40 million followed by an additional €35 million by 2026, plus a sell-on clause for the Nigerian international. This response came after the Turkish champions had already made their fourth offer to the Serie A side.

Speaking on the development, Rodop stated: "Galatasaray won't make a new offer for Victor Osimhen. They won't go beyond the last offer."

"Victor Osimhen's contract expires next year, but there's a plus-one, and Napoli has the right to extend it. Napoli has the initiative there," he added.

The transfer expert praised Osimhen's conduct throughout the negotiations, saying: "We need to give Victor Osimhen a big thumbs-up. He's taking a great stance. Galatasaray will no longer be at the table with Napoli's new offer."

Rodop didn't hold back in his criticism of Napoli's approach to the negotiations, concluding: "Galatasaray's latest offer is clear and unchanged. The Napoli president is just making a fool of himself."

Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, had reportedly been keen to return to the Turkish giants on a permanent basis. The striker enjoyed his time in Turkey and had expressed interest in continuing his career there.

This development represents another twist in what has been a complicated transfer saga for the Nigerian forward, who has struggled to secure a permanent move away from Napoli despite interest from several clubs across Europe.

With Galatasaray now reportedly out of the picture, Osimhen's future remains uncertain as the transfer window continues to progress. The striker will likely be hoping for resolution soon as he looks to settle his club situation ahead of the new season.
